Celtic News

Celtic had a very early game last Saturday at 8:30 against . Our warm-up beforehand was not as focused and that was evident in the first half of the game where the boys first touch on the ball was below par and we gave away possession to the other team frequently through poor passing. At half-time the score line was 2-2 and we talked about improving our first touch and more accurate passing as goals for the second half. The ‘other’ Celtic team emerged ready to play in the second half and the boys greatly improved, especially with lifting their head and finding an open player. There were a number of occasions in the second half where the boys played some sweet soccer and strung 4 to 5 passes together and finished off with a goal. The final score of 8-2 reflected the step up in play by the boys.
