June 29 Bayern Munich II -v- EMFC Select
The Eugene Metro Select Team will play another International Friendly game on Monday, June 29th against the German club Bayern Munich II. Bayern Munich is Germany's biggest and most successful professional soccer club, and to host their young team for games in our community is a huge honor for Eugene Metro!
The game will be held at Willamette High School's new turf facility.
Gates will open at 6:00 pm with kickoffs scheduled for 7:30 pm.
All seats are General Admission. No outside food, beverages, or chairs allowed inside. Concessions available from Willamette High School Boosters
Tickets for each game cost $10 for adults and $7 for youth (18 and under), and are now on sale at the following locations:

Tickets puchased the day of the game will be full price.
This is a great chance to watch a top-level men's international teams from Germany play against college-age players from UCLA, University of Portland, Oregon State, and Concordia. The EMFC Select Team is coached by Jurgen Ruckaberle, Joe Beeler, Parker Nehl, and Gabriel Hernandez. The Select Team will feature returning players from previous international games, including former local players, Leland Wright, Garrett Staples, and Brian Rowe, and will be joined by several new players, including striker Frankie Lopez from the University of Portland.

The Eugene Metro FC Classic International Games are the club's biggest fund raisers for its scholarship program, which provides fee assistance for players on our U10-U18 boys and girls' teams. This year, 20% of proceeds from concession sales will also be donated to the scholarship fund, so please support our concession vendors Jamba Juice, Plaza Latina, and the Willamette High School Boosters at the game.

At the risk of forgetting someone... I want to thank everyone who volunteered to help with the Club America game last week. Little did we know what an exciting and chaotic night this would become! In truth, all of you contributed to the night's success, and in spite of the thunder and lightening, hundreds of people left with good memories. I will never forget this night, and especially the wonderful people who showed up to help!
I would love to have all of you back for the Bayern Munich game at Willamette High School on Monday, June 29! It will be so much smoother the second time around.... and I promise to take a deep breath this time!
