2010 Spring Break Camp

The annual EMFC spring break camp at the Regional Sports Center in Springfield is coming up again. On March 23-25, Director of Coaching Jurgen Ruckaberle has assembled an experienced and qualified coaching staff to work on improving technical skills in a fun and exciting environment. U7-U12 players come in the morning from 9-12 and U13 to U17 players come in the afternoon. This camp is an excellent opportunity to brush up on skills, maintain your soccer fitness, get exposed to new coaches, and have fun all at the same time. The camp focuses on improving technical skills, works on finishing, shooting, and puts players in numerous small sided games. The last day of the camp will host the World Cup tournament in which campers form age appropriate teams to compete for the World Cup. This camp is one of the most popular and well attended camps in Oregon. Last year, 150 campers enjoyed the curriculum and the fun environment. This camp is also one of the EMFC events that raises money for the EMFC scholarship fund. All net profits go into the EMFC scholarship fund.

The camp cost $75 for all three days/ 30 per day and includes a camp t-shirt. The early registration deadline is March 12, 2010. After March 12, the cost is $90 for all 3 days/ $35 per day. Early registration also makes it easier for the camp director to hire additional coaches to ensure an excellent ratio of coaches and campers.
